E-mail and Internet Use Training Outline

The computer has evolved to become an irreplaceable tool in business. Many of us probably have trouble imagining our jobs without it. Technology has also brought us other benefits, such as e-mail and the Internet, which have made our jobs even more efficient. But as our ability to communicate has increased, so has the need to police these cyber tools.

How e-mail and the internet are used affects many aspects of business. While it is impossible for employers to keep an eye on each employee at all times; it is necessary to set policy which allows employees to police themselves without confusion.

The goal of this course is to teach employees how to use these tools responsibly and appropriately, and in accordance with the employer’s specific usage policies. As with all other HR Classroom trainings, any organization can quickly and easily bring their employees up to speed on these issues as well as fully document trainee activity. Your organization’s own policy can also be inserted directly into each training.
