FMLA and Military Family Leave Supervisor Training (including 2008 and 2013 Rule Changes)

When employees need to attend to seriously-ill children, parents, or to newly-born or adopted infants, or even to their own serious illness, employees need reassurance that they will not have to choose between job security and personal needs at home.

In addition, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) has been amended to extend protection to employees who require leave to care for family members injured while on active military duty, to care for covered veterans, or to handle a "qualifying exigency" associated with a covered military member. Amendments have also created expanded FMLA coverage for certain airline flight crew.

This training will concentrate on following the key aspects of the FMLA. As with other HR Classroom trainings, employers can fully document trainee activity, and your organization's own policy can also be inserted directly into the training.
